Day Trip From Marrakech to Essaouira

Exploring Essaouira day trip start from Marrakech at 8h30, the driver will pick you up from you’re riad . Firstly, you will drive along The Haouz Plains , after 1 hour driving the chauffeur will make a quick stop in Chichaoua village for a cup of coffee, before you continue to essaouira.

 On your way you will cross the Argan trees that only grow in the wild, it’s a possible to stop and take pictures of some goats climbing the trees. With an argan oil tasting in small cooperative run by local women.

The first thing to do when you arrive to essaouira, is to visit the Medina a UNESCO world heritage site wander through narrow streets with shops, cofes and vibrant galleries.
Explore the essaouira ramparts, the historic city walls, stunning views of the coastline. Visit Skala a historic sea bastion which was built against foreign attacks from the sea .

Next, you will continue to Bab Laalouj one of the main gates of Essaouira, then to the Mellah the old Jewish quarter . Walk through the fishing port, where can sea the local fishermen an boats .In order you can choose one of the local cofes for a delicious seafood lunch, or we can prpare a wonderful meal for you on the roof of our beautiful house with the view of the sea .

In the afternoon, you can visit the Museum of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah ,and if you’re a beach lovers enjoy a walk along the sandy beach of Mogador .

Finally, the driver will pick you up back to Marrakech.
