Day Trip to Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou

This day trip takes you right across the chain of the high Atlas Mountains. It’s start from Marrakech, the chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel in the morning at 8h30 pm ,then drive to Ouarzazat all along the route you can see the berber villages perched on the side of the mountains .

First of all you will stop in Ait Berka village to take some photos and enjoy a breathtaking view, then you continue towards the summit of Tizi N’tichka at 2260 m above sea level, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and impressive panoramic views of the hight Atlas Mountains.
As you reach the far side of the mountains the landscape changes dramatically becoming semi _arid and desert like .

Here is the Kasbah architecture with turrets on all the buildings adorned with grilled windows and soft peach colored walls, these traditional houses are made of adobe, highly suitable for the climatic conditions of the south.

Furthermore, you will visite the historic Telouet Kasbah, after that you drive to the Kasbah of ait ben haddou which is a UNESCO world heritage listed site . Then you will have a delicious local lunch there .After that you continue towards the city of Ouarzazat where you stop to visit the cinema studios and also take a chance to visit Taourirt Kasbah classified by UNESCO as a world heritage listed site. 

Finally you return to Marrakech, the driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
